GENERAL

OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of the course, participants should be able to:

Review all areas in the core curriculum distributed by the ABEM.
Provide a comprehensive review of the body of knowledge that comprises Emergency Medicine.
Exceed the passing requirement of the ABEM Board Certification/Recertification Exam.
Recognize the wide variety of visual diagnoses and radiographic abnormalities encountered in the specialty of Emergency Medicine.
Provide excellent care for our patients.

AUDIENCE
Emergency Medicine Physicians certifying and recertifying with the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) and Emergency Medicine Physicians who want an in-depth review of the challenges faced in the field of Emergency Medicine.

ACCREDITATION
The North Shore-LIJ Health System is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The North Shore-LIJ Health System designates this educational activity for a maximum of 40.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Approved by the American College of Emergency Physicians for 40.25 hours of ACEP Category I Credit.
